The 22-year-old has been consistently one of the most productive attacking full-backs in Europe in the last couple of years, and has contributed a superb ten goals from defence this season, following on from seven from the back in 2013/14.
The Swiss international’s attacking style of play would certainly go down a treat at the Bernabeu, and it looks as though the Spanish giants are ready to spoil United’s transfer plans by making a bid for him.
United may have signed Luke Shaw and Daley Blind last summer, but Louis van Gaal still seems unconvinced by his options in that department as he targets Rodriguez, according to Fichajes.com.
Still, Real are also on the hunt for new signings at the back after a frustrating season of finishing trophyless, and Rodriguez appears to be firmly in their sights.
