The Argentine star reportedly handed in a transfer request on Sunday, according to the Metro, and looks set to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Bayern Munich are believed to be keen on the international [via the Metro]—who swapped Real Madrid for United last summer—although Pep Guardiola may face competition from PSG, who are also believed to be interested in the World Cup finalist [via the Mirror].

However, speaking to Telefoot [via Le 10 Sport], Frank Leboeuf—himself a World Cup winner in 1998—has commented on PSG’s summer plans, advising his former teammate Laurent Blanc to make Lyon’s Lacazette his priority.

“I would take Lacazette ahead of Di Maria for PSG,” the former Chelsea defender began.

“They must start to prepare for life after [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic.”

Indeed, Lacazette would certainly be a more direct replacement for Ibrahimovic should the Swedish forward leave the club. AC Milan have been rumoured to want to bring the former Barcelona man back to the San Siro this summer according to Goal.

French international Lacazette—23—found the net 27 times in 33 Ligue 1 appearances for Hubert Fournier’s Lyon this season, helping Les Gones to a second-place finish in the French top flight.

His exceptional form has also sparked interest from the Premier League, with Arsenal and Liverpool both believed to be keeping tabs on the forward, according to TalkSPORT.
