In an incredible revelation from The Sun, it looks as though the England international could be ready to make a u-turn on his future at Anfield if Rodgers leaves the club this summer.

The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid have all been strongly linked with a move to sign Sterling this summer after his decision to turn down a new contract, but it will be interesting to see the decision the Reds now make in terms of Rodgers’ future on Merseyside.

With Liverpool only finishing 6th in the Premier League this season, the former Swansea boss’ position at the club is uncertain, with Klopp likely to be a tempting option for the club after his decision to quit Dortmund at the end of this campaign.

The German tactician has proven a big hit in his time at the Westfalenstadion, and it seems Sterling would be ready to work under him and continue at Liverpool.
