White Hart Lane side keen on Old Trafford centre-back.
Tottenham are one of a host of sides said to be tracking Man United centre-back Jonny Evans according to the Daily Star.
The Northern Irish international has fallen down the Old Trafford pecking order, having produced some truly woeful displays during the season, and Man United will apparently demand just £5m for the 27 year old.
Evans has just a year to run on his current contract and is now behind Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo as well as youngsters Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett and is seemingly a player who is nonetheless attracting a great deal of interest.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side conceded more goals than any other side in the top half of the table last term, hence the club’s need to pursue summer defensive captures.
Everton, Aston Villa and Sunderland are all said to be interested in Evans, who has made 192 appearances for Man United.
