The Gunners eased to a record 12th FA Cup triumph after beating Aston Villa 4-0 at Wembley on Saturday in the most one-side final in recent memory of the competition.

Ozil, who has saved some of his better performances for the FA Cup this season, was superb against Villa says he and the rest of his team-mates are targeting success in the Premier League and in Europe next year.

“I’m very pleased. My second year and my second title. It’s hard to beat. We want to win everything but there are many big teams who have the same goals as us,” he told Mirror Sport.

“But I’m positive and I think we are on the right way with the team. Next season we want to defend out title and who knows maybe we will win other titles,” Ozil added.

Victory at the weekend caps off an amazing 12 months for the 26-year-old after helping the Gunners end their nine-year trophy drought against Hull City last year, he would go on to lift the World Cup with Germany alongside Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski a few weeks later.

Now with another FA Cup success under his belt it also seems the playmaker has settled in England and will certainly be hoping to inspire the North London outfit to more titles.
