Kevin De Bruyne latest: Man City and Man Utd target wants to leave Bundesliga club

Vfl Wolfsburg playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has been the subject of much transfer speculation following a stunning season in the Bundesliga and, according to reports from Germany, wants to move to a more ambitious club in the summer.

In reports cited by Italian news outlet Tuttosport, the Belgium international wishes to leave the Volkswagen Arena and has opened the door for rumoured suitors to make an offer in the summer transfer window.

Manchester City and Manchester United have been linked to his name [via talkSPORT], along with Wolfsburg’s rivals Bayern Munich [via the Express]. Now Tuttosport claim that Champions League finalists Juventus have joined the chase.

It looks to be a busy summer of decisions for De Bruyne.

The Chelsea reject registered a staggering 21 assists this term – a Bundesliga record – and scored 10 goals. He also scored five goals and recorded five assists in the Europa League, in what has been a tremendous breakthrough campaign for the 23-year-old.

Wolfsburg’s season ended on a high in the DFB Pokal final on Saturday at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. Dieter Hecking’s side spoiled a fairytale farewell for Jurgen Klopp, as they beat Borussia Dortmund 3-1.
