Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has hit the headlines after being caught in the early hours of Tuesday morning with pop star Rihanna in New York City.

The Santiago Bernabeu forward was snapped with the Barbadian singer in a 24-hour restaurant following a night of partying at NYC nightclub Griffin, the Daily Mail report.

It’s not known whether the pair are seeing each other, but having previously been linked in June 2014, after Rihanna tweeted Benzema good luck ahead of the World Cup, a relationship could be blossoming.
The France international is currently enjoying his summer break following the end of a trophy-less season with Real Madrid – in which he scored 15 goals and registered 10 assists in La Liga.
Latest reports from the Express suggest that his future in Madrid is uncertain with imminent new manager Rafael Benitez set to offload the striker in the summer.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all rumoured to be interested in his signature.
