The 22 year old Argentine striker is one of the hottest prospects in world football at the moment. After coming through the youth setup at the famed Barcelona academy he has gone on to become a star in Serie A.

He signed for Sampdoria in 2011, but left them to join Inter Milan in the summer of 2013.

Since joining Milan he has bagged himself 31 goals in 58 games – getting 22 in this season alone to finish as joint top scorer with veteran Verona striker Luca Toni.

He has made one appearance for the Argentine national side, coming as a sub in their 2013 World Cup qualifying loss against Uruguay.

His arrival at Atletico Madrid could pave the way for Mexican striker Raul Jimenez to move to Porto.
