The midfielder has also attracted the interest of Arsenal and Inter Milan according to the Express, but his representative seems more interested in the potentially more lucrative trio. Both Real and City are known for their ability to pay massive transfer fees and wages, while Juve may be attempting to join the rich sides after making it to the Champions League final.

This will hurt the Gunners, who may have been hoping to partner the 22-year-old alongside Francis Coquelin in midfield. The France international performed well against the North London side in their 1-3 dismantling by Monaco at the Emirates in February.

Meanwhile their Premier League rivals may be hoping to use the youngster as part of a plan to eventually replace Yaya Toure. The Ivory Coast international isn’t getting any younger at 32-years-old, and experienced shaky form in the last campaign.

Benbaron said: “The player appeals to a lot of clubs around Europe. In addition to interest from Inter, there’s also Juventus, Manchester City and Real Madrid. A lot of teams have contacted us, but I can’t reveal how far along the various talks are.

“Will he leave this summer? Everything is possible in football.”
