According to reports in Spain, Paris Saint-Germain have joined the hunt for Juventus striker Carlos Tevez and will look to compete with Liverpool for the Argentine’s signature.
AS have confirmed that PSG are among the clubs keen on the forward and are keeping tabs on the player’s transfer situation.
Having recruited Paulo Dybala from Palermo for a reported €32 million [GR Parlamento via Goal], Juve are well-stocked in offensive areas and may well be keen to cash in on Tevez.
They also remain keen on PSG forward Edinson Cavani [via RMC], whose arrival would surely push Tevez towards the exit door at the Stadium Juventus.
The international—who will represent Argentina at the 2015 Copa America—has enjoyed a fine campaign in Italy since leaving Manchester City in 2013. He bagged 20 goals in 32 appearances in Serie A, and also weighed in with seven as the Old Lady advanced to the Champions League final.
The former Manchester United star will likely feature for the Bianconeri in their European Cup final against Barcelona in the Berlin final on June 6.
According to the Express, Liverpool are also keen to bring Tevez back to the Premier League, while he has also been linked with a move back to Argentina, with Boca Juniors keen to bring the club hero back to Buenos Aires, according to Tuttosport [via the Daily Mail].
Tevez won three Premier League titles during his time in England-two with Manchester United and one with Manchester City-and also lifted the FA Cup and the League Cup.
During his time at Old Trafford, he won the Champions League in 2008 and the FIFA Club World Cup later that year.
Tevez is currently under contract at Juventus until June 2016.
