Chelsea transfer news
The Argentine international is seemingly up for grabs this summer after another excellent season in front of goal, with the former Real Madrid man continuing to show his class and establish himself as one of the best attacking players in Europe.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea look in need of new additions up front, with the Gunners looking to bring in an upgrade on Olivier Giroud, while the Blues possibly face losing Diego Costa after already seeing Didier Drogba quit the club.
According to the Metro, Higuain seems to be the player both these London giants want to sign, with the £42m fee close to matching the club-record fee Arsenal paid to sign Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid in 2013.
The 27-year-old has a record of 28 goals and ten assists in the 2014/15 season.
