Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini has given Juventus an almighty scare by limping out of a training session on Wednesday, which has placed his Champions League final participation in serious doubt.

The experienced defender has been integral for the Old Lady during their run to the final and has played in every minute of the European campaign including victories over Borussia Dortmund, AS Monaco and Real Madrid.
Serie A champions revealed on their official website that Chiellini withdrew from training after suffering discomfort in his left calf and will be assessed again on Thursday.
Should the 30-year-old fail to take to the pitch in Berlin on Saturday, he will miss out on the chance to re-unite with Luis Suarez after the pair clashed at last summer’s World Cup.
The Barca forward was handed a four-month suspension for biting the defender during the Italy v Uruguay group stage fixture and the meeting between the pair would have been an interesting sub-plot to a match that will see either club complete an historic treble with victory.
