The France international has had an amazing season, almost firing his side to the Ligue 1 title only to be beaten by PSG at the last. The 24-year-old scored 29 goals in 35 matches for the French side, and this has piqued the interest of the Premier League quartet as well as their domestic champions.

The Anfield outfit are apparently set to make a £22 million bid for the striker, but could well end up disappointed in their endeavours. Lacazette has already revealed that he is keen on playing in the Champions League, and now it is believed that the forward is especially keen on United or PSG.

This will be good news for Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal who is currently lacking for an attacking focus in his team. Captain Wayne Rooney can play in the role, but has also been playing in the number 10 role and in central midfield. Meanwhile Radamel Falcao’s loan has come to an end, Robin van Persie has again become injury prone, and James Wilson doesn’t seem to be trusted by the 63-year-old.
