Liverpool transfer news
Simon Mignolet – After a poor start, the Belgian goalkeeper actually did alright for the Reds and kept a long run of clean sheets in the early part of 2015, showing he can perform when he’s feeling confident. 6/10.
Brad Jones – An awful backup keeper, Jones did not manage to impress in the rare times he was given a chance to start by manager Brendan Rodgers. 4/10.
Glen Johnson – Harshly criticised at times, Johnson is far from an awful player, but it definitely looks like the right time for him to move on after a less than convincing campaign. 5.5/10.
Javier Manquillo – A strange signing on loan from Atletico Madrid, the Spanish youngster showed some potential but is perhaps just short of being good enough to start regularly at the moment. 6/10.
Emre Can – Despite a slow start, Emre Can settled in brilliantly after finding his best position as part of a three-man defence. Not always on top form, but for one so young this has to go down as a solid first season. 7/10.
