According to newspaper Record, the Dutch club are very interested in signing the 19 year-old Mexican. Lozano, who currently plays with Pachuca, is one of the main stars currently playing for Mexico’s under 20 team in New Zealand.

So far he has been recognised by the media as the best player in the Mexican squad. In the last game against Uruguay, Mexico won 2-1 with goals from Gutierrez – and Lozano.

Lozano’s debut was in 2014 in a game against Club America in which he scored the winning goal just three minutes after entering the pitch.

The deal with PSV is still not done, but it won’t be a surprise if Pachuca try to negotiate a better one than what is currently on the table after his success in the tournament in New Zealand.
