The 30 year old enjoyed a productive season at the Parc des Princes but is apparently ready to quit the Ligue 1 side.

Both Tottenham and Valencia are also tracking the Argentine international and as such Brendan Rodgers would do well to put in a strong bid for the former Napoli man.

Lavezzi netted eight goals in 19 Ligue 1 starts in 2014/15 and Rodgers may well be keen to bring in fresh attacking talent given just how poorly his current crop of forwards fared this season.

The likes of Rickie Lambert, Daniel Sturridge, Fabio Borini and Mario Balotelli managed just eight Premier League goals between them.
