Real Madrid are keen to sign Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea before the start of their pre-season tour of Australia, according to latest reports.

The Spanish giants are big admirers of De Gea after his outstanding form at Old Trafford this season, and want him as the long-term replacement for Iker Casillas.

According to the Independent, Real are now looking to speed up the deal as they seek to take the 24-year-old with them on their pre-season tour before the start of the 2015/16 campaign.

United may be looking to secure a replacement signing first, and they should have plenty of options if they bring in the £35m they want for the Spanish shot-stopper, though Real are hoping to land him for closer to £25m.
