Liverpool are edging closer towards the possible signing of Juventus forward Carlos Tevez with the Argentine set to decide his future by next Wednesday according to the Metro.

The 31 year old enjoyed a superb season in Italy last term but appears ready to quit Turin for pastures new with Massimiliano Allegri eyeing up Atletico Madrid forard Mario Mandzukic as a potential replacement for the former West Ham, Man City and Man United man.
The experienced forward netted 29 goals last term, helping Juventus to a domestic double as well as playing a key role in the club’s run to the Champions League final, however it appears a summer move is likely.
A return to his boyhood club Boca Juniors is one option and the likes of Atletico Madrid and PSG are also keen and Brendan Rodgers may have a tough time trying to lure Tevez back to England.
However this source claims a move is possible and that Juventus will ask for just £10m for Tevez, a fee that is well within Liverpool’s budget.
