Jack Wilshere has been in the news for the wrong reasons in the last week for his anti-Tottenham chant during Arsenal’s FA Cup trophy parade last month, but on Sunday evening he was the toast of English football.

The midfielder grabbed his first two goals in a Three Lions shirt as they came from behind to eventually beat Slovenia 3-2 and maintain their 100 per cent record in Euro 2016 qualification.
After falling behind to Milivoje Novakovic’s first half strike, Wilshere equalised 11 minutes after the break with a brilliant effort from just outside the area as he was teed-up by Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana.
If his first was good then his second after 73 minutes was even better..
The move was started in a defensive area which Jordan Henderson and Andros Townsend negotiated wonderfully, the former fed Lallana, who in turn flicked the ball for Wilshere to let fly from distance and he found the net with a stunning curling effort.
Both goals have been celebrated wildly from those on Twitter as some who aren’t big fans of the Gunners midfielder acknowledged the brilliance of the 23-year-old.
Hands up I admit I don’t like Wilshere but fair play to him for doing the business when required.

Brilliant from Wilshere. Been able to get forward so much more the second half. No doubting his quality.
