Gazetta dello Sport, cited by Sky Sports, report that the Italian giants expect huge offers for their star midfielder in the coming weeks, with Man City rumoured to be prepared to pay as much as €110m (£80m) to secure his signature.

Manuel Pellegrini’s midfield is in need of an injection of youth; David Silva (29), Fernandinho (30) and Yaya Toure (32) are all arguably nearing the twilight stages of their career, and the club’s Chilean manager must begin to look to at long-term replacements. Pogba looks to fit the bill.

Barcelona made an opening offer of €80m (£58m) in early May [via International Business Times], which was rejected by Juve, and PSG allegedly later matched this offer.

I bianconeri, however, are holding out for much more cash for their prized asset – and Les Parisiens and Barca could struggle to compete with the financial strength of Manchester City.
