Juventus will attempt to sign Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain this summer by offering young defender Daniele Rugani in return for the Argentine international, according to sources in Italy.
The Serie A champions could be set to lose Carlos Tevez before the start of next season, with Liverpool and Atletico Madrid among the clubs chasing the former Manchester City man.
However, Liverpool are also one of the clubs linked with Higuain in recent times, with Arsenal and Chelsea also among his many admirers as he looks set to quit the Naples outfit after a disappointing season.
Rugani is also a player on Arsenal’s radar this summer, meaning this move could potentially deal a double blow to the Gunners’s transfer plans.
Juventus won the title for the fourth year in a row in 2014/15, and Tuttomercatoweb reports that this latest move is on the cards, which could further seal their dominance in Italy.
