The 23 year old Belgian spent three successful seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid and has ambitions of a return to Spain to join either Real or Barcelona.
The Blues star fears that should the Bernabeu side land Man United custodian David De Gea then his chances of filling the top spot at Real Madrid will be all but ended.
Courtois is happy at Stamford Bridge for now, and is tied down to a long term deal with the West London side, but has ambitions to move to one of La Liga’s top two at some point in the peak period of his career.
Jose Mourinho ushered in Courtois as his first choice starter for 2014/15 and it’s likely Petr Cech will leave the club this summer and there is surely no chance the Chelsea manager will entertain the notion of both keepers departing in the same transfer window.
