La Red 21 [via Le 10 Sport] state that Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United are all interested in his signature, while the Express claim that Arsenal could have been tempted to make a move in the summer.

However, in an interview with the Uruguayan source, the Celeste international pledged his future to PSG and addressed reports suggesting that he is unhappy with his wide role at the Parc des Princes:

“Any comments, all these things that are said, we should remember the subject and when I mentioned it.

“I did not mention the city of Paris, club, organisation,” he added.

“What I said is that I used to play in the centre and it cost me to go to one side, which is normal.

“When you are used to performing a task, it is not obvious to switch to another.”

He continued: “Everything related to my private life, family, I’m happy. I feel very happy in Paris. I hope I can make it. I will give everything for them.

“This year is completed. It motivates me more. I am very happy there and we hope everything will continue as well.”

Earlier in January it was suggested that the 28-year-old could be eyeing an exit from Paris after the forward was described as ‘unsettled’ in the capital. He was reportedly struggling to agree with Laurent Blanc’s tactics, which saw him shunted out to the wing in order to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the leading central attacker [via ESPN].

The former Napoli star cost Les Parisiens a sizeable £55 million in July 2013 – and it seems that the Ligue 1 giants have little intention of selling two seasons later, particularly as he remains in top goalscoring form.

Despite struggling to establish a position under manager Blanc – having played left wing, right wing and centre forward last season – Cavani netted 31 goals in all competitions during the last campaign in which the French outfit made history in sealing the domestic quadruple.

The Uruguayan has won two Ligue 1 titles, the Coupe de France, the Coupe de la Ligue and the Trophee des Champions during his two seasons so far at the Parc des Princes.
