AC Milan join chase for Chelsea star despite Stamford Bridge disapproval (Video)

AC Milan are interested in signing Chelsea star Mohamed Salah despite the Blues wanting him to stay on loan with Fiorentina, reports Italian publication Gazzetta Dello Sport.

The 23-year-old found form with the Viola after failing to make an impact with the Blues. He scored six goals in 16 Serie A games for the italian side, and this seems to have alerted some of the biggest clubs in the league. Inter Milan and Juventus are also interested in the winger, but the Stamford Bridge hierarchy are keen to keep him with his current side.

They are more interested in a loan deal for the Egypt international, and Fiorentina are attempting to renew their current temporary deal rather than sign him permanently. The trio of other interested sides are all looking for a straight transfer for the youngster.

Manager Jose Mourinho is unlikely to need Salah in his first team squad any time soon though, which could mean they will accept a bid. Eden Hazard has the left wing position tied down, and on the right they already have Willian and Juan Cuadrado fighting for one place in the starting XI.

However, with the player able to do things like this and Cuadrado struggling to adapt to English football it could be that Mourinho is making a mistake in preferring the latter…
