Arsenal and Real Madrid could miss out on the signing of AS Monaco defensive midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia this summer as he is supposedly a big fan of Liverpool.
The French international is a superb young player who is tipped for big things this summer, with a host of other elite sides also chasing him, including Barcelona and AC Milan.
However, according to the Metro, Liverpool could be in luck as they pursue a replacement for Steven Gerrard, with the 22-year-old a big fan of the Reds and open to a move to Merseyside despite the lack of Champions League football on offer.
Kondogbia could be a great fit alongside Jordan Henderson in Brendan Rodgers’ midfield, and looks to have all the qualities to succeed in the Premier League.
