Done Deal: Tottenham complete second summer signing as Kieran Trippier deal is confirmed

White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino has signed Kieran Trippier, in a £3.5 million deal from Burnley, and this has led to speculation about Walker’s future at the North London outfit.

Walker has suffered with injuries in recent seasons but is still considered one of the best right-backs in the Premier League and as such, it’s a little hard to imagine Spurs would look to sell the former Sheffield United man.

Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal is known to be looking to sign a right-back, having previously targeted Southampton’s Nathaniel Clyne and Barcelona star Dani Alves, and may well be ready to make an offer for Walker if he is indeed being made available.

Tottenham signed Walker in 2009 and he has gone on to make 155 appearances for the club and has 11 England caps to his name.
