New Manchester United signing has a bad attitude and is inconsistent

The 24-year-old has already told his squadmates that he wants a move to the Bernabeu according to the Daily Mail, and it seems that a move is getting closer by the day. This will be a major blow for the Red Devils after his performances over the past seasons. As a result Mata is keen for the goalkeeper to stay at Old Trafford.

However, the Spain international also hinted that a move to the La Liga giants could make the stopper happier.

He said of a potential move: “Lots of people ask me about him. He’s a friend and I want him to be happy. He’s currently one of the best goalkeepers in the world. From a selfish point of view, I would want to have him in my team.”

This will be a major blow to the Red Devils, who may now need to find a replacement for De Gea. Tottenham star Hugo Lloris has been linked to United by the Daily Star, as has Ajax ace Jasper Cillessen by the Daily Mirror. The latter was manager van Gaal’s number one when he was Netherlands boss, and helped them to the semi finals of the World Cup last summer.
