The North London side signed Soldado from Valencia in a £26m deal back in August 2013 and the 30 year old has managed to net just seven goals in 52 Premier League appearances.

Spurs are willing to accept £11m for Soldado with Galatasaray said to be ready to offer £9m for the experienced forward, a fee that White Hart Lane chairman Daniel Levy may consider worth taking.

Soldado was part of a surfeit of additions brought in with the funds accrued from the sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid and has proven a real disappointment.

Prior to his move to Tottenham the La Liga star had been in prolific form, scoring 81 goals in 141 appearances for Valencia, but Soldado has steadfastly failed to make an impact in the English top tier.
