The Scottish champions will enter the competition at the second qualifying round stage and have been paired with Icelandic outfit Stjarnan F.C.

Celtic will play at home in the first leg which is set to take place on either July 14/15 and the return leg is a week later.

After failing to reach the group stages last season the Hoops have been handed a kind draw and do have a good record against opponents from Iceland.

At the same stage last season they were comfortable 5-0 winners on aggregate over Reykjavík F.C and will be hoping for more of the same next month against Stjarnan.

If Celtic are successful then they will progress into the third qualifying round and still have to negotiate the play-off round in order to reach the group phase.
