The Hammers, who qualified for the competition by virtue of finishing top of Fair Play Table in the Barclays Premier League last season, have been rewarded with a two-legged tie with Andorran outfit FC Lusitans.

The first round fixtures are set to take place on July 2 and 9, meaning new boss Slaven Bilic will take charge of his first game one month before their league campaign kicks-off against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Players of the East London outfit reported for traning on Monday morning and will be taking a trip into the unknown to face FC Lusitans next month.

It will be the first time in nine years in which the Hammers are in Europe and will be hoping it doesn’t affect their league form ahead of the move to the Olympic Stadium next summer.
