The Daily Mail claim that the Saints will allow the Frenchman to leave in the summer window, but are demanding £24m for his signature, as the in-demand midfielder still has two-years to run on his contract.

According to the report, a three-way battle between the Gunners, the Red Devils and Spurs is expected; however, Mauricio Pochettino may struggle to lure the 25-year-old to White Hart Lane given his desire to compete among Europe’s elite in the Champions League.

Schneiderlin was denied a move to Tottenham this time last year, and he may well be counting his blessings now that two of the Premier League’s giants have expressed interest following another impressive campaign.

Arsene Wenger is the favourite to land the France international, with Louis van Gaal said to be more intent on signing Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Back in March, Schneiderlin was offered a new contract, worth £60,000 per-week, to commit his future to Ronald Koeman’s side – which would have made him the highest paid player in the club’s history [Daily Star].

His rejection of the deal illustrated his desire to move on at the end of the season.
