The Serie A champions have previously been credited with interest for the Brazil international; however, recent reports claimed that Mourinho had no interest in offloading the 23-year-old this summer [via Sky Sports].

It now seems that the Portuguese manager’s mind may have been changed following developments in negotiations with Pogba.

Gianluca Di Marzio, on Wednesday, claimed that Mourinho recently opened talks with the France international’s representatives over a summer move to the English capital and was informed of the Juve midfielder’s £7m-a-year after-tax contract demand. The report suggested that the Blues could have consequently been priced out of any deal.

However, in latest reports, the Mirror draw upon Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri’s open admiration of Oscar, which the Premier League champions could be willing to take advantage of by tabling a swap deal involving Stamford Bridge’s No.8 and Pogba.

The British newspaper state that the Frenchman is valued at £70m by the Italian giants, which is a fee the west London club seem uninterested in parting with. Offering Oscar, therefore, would see the price-tag drop considerably with the Brazilian’s current market value at £35.2m [via Transfer Markt].

Despite not being a certain starter at the Bridge last season following the arrival of Cesc Fabregas, Oscar scored six goals and registered eight assists – just three off Santi Cazorla’s second-highest tally in England’s top flight of 11 – in 26 Premier League starts.
