The 23 year old impressed during a loan move to Florence but the Egyptian is apparently set to move to Inter Milan in a £5m deal with the San Siro side offering a better salary package.

Salah netted nine goals for Fiorentina following his January loan move, the Blues bit-part player moving as part of the deal that saw Juan Cuadrado move to Stamford Bridge, and has seen the temporary switch act as an ideal shop window his services.

Chelsea signed Salah from FC Basel in an £11m deal and the speedy wide-man impressed in his first season at the West London club with a number of live-wire displays but last season he was frozen out of Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven and a permanent exit appears likely.
