The Old Trafford forward is currently enjoying his end of season holiday with Dutch pals Daley Blind and Stefan De Vrij, and the trio bumped into Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo in Miami.
Both van Persie and Pirlo could be leaving their current clubs this summer.
The Italian icon is rumoured to be on the brink of joining Major League Soccer franchise New York City FC [via ESPN], and would team up with Premier League legend Frank Lampard at the Yankee Stadium.
Meanwhile, the former Arsenal ace recently stated that he could leave the Theatre of Dreams in search of regular first-team football. The 31-year-old is concerned that a lack of playing under van Gaal could affect his chances of competing in the 2016 European Champions, but admitted that his family will be key in any future decision [via The Sun].
