The Viola have already paid a £700,000 loan fee to bring the 23-year-old to Tuscany for next season, but the player is now having second thoughts over the deal and wants an increase in wages. Inter Milan and Juventus are apparently also interested in the winger, and he may be eyeing a move to the latter as they are in the Champions League.

As a result, the Gigliati are threatening to use legal action in order to force the youngster to sign on the dotted line. They are even willing to buy the player permanently, but the contract issue will still need to be resolved.

The Egypt international was in impressive form at the Serie A club in the last campaign, drawing these clubs to try and acquire his services. The wideman managed nine goals and four assists in 26 appearances in Italy, showing the form that had earned him a move to Stamford Bridge from FC Basel in the first place.

Chelsea won’t be too worried by the upcoming loss of Salah, with Eden Hazard, Willian, and Juan Cuadrado covering the wide positions ably last season as they won both the Premier League and the Capital One Cup. In fact the winger needs to leave so that he can get some first team football and create more moments of magic like this one…
