The Italian source provides a €35 million (£24 million) valuation of the Blues star, who has enjoyed three strong seasons at Stamford Bridge and is still a pivotal member of Jose Mourinho’s first team set-up.

TalkSPORT claim that the Turin side see the 23-year-old Brazilian as a potential replacement for Chilean Arturo Vidal.

While Oscar’s impact in the 2014/15 season was less notable than in his previous two campaigns, the former Internacional midfielder’s tally of 151 appearances in three seasons goes some way to demonstrating just how important a player he is.

Juventus clinched a domestic double last term, and also reached the Champions League final where they lost to Barcelona, but boss Massimiliano Allegri appears keen to add further strength to his squad.

Sami Khedira has already arrived on a free transfer from Real Madrid [The Guardian], while Paulo Dybala was an early big-money addition from Palermo [ESPN].

28-year-old former Bayer Leverkusen man Vidal has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal [via the Daily Mail], where he would team up with fellow countryman Alexis Sanchez, and having helped Juventus to four successive Serie A titles in his four seasons at the club it’s clear the cultured midfielder would be hard to replace.
