Former Chelsea and Arsenal star Ashley Cole was hit three times in the face by Playboy model Carla Howe, reports The Sun.

The incident happened at a nightclub in the early hours of Tuesday morning, and the glamour model claims that she left for the former England international with a busted lip. Apparently security had to drag Howe away from the footballer at Tramp club in central London.
This is not the first trouble that the defender has had with the Howes, after Carla’s twin sister Melissa revealed that she had slept with the star while he was married to Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. That situation eventually ended with the pop star divorcing Cole in 2010, and she has now remarried.
Carla believes that the player thought she was her sibling, and had been attempting to get her thrown out of the exclusive club.
“I punched him hard three times with my right hand and I was wearing a ring,” she revealed, “Ashley had followed me from the VIP section into the foyer area and just got in my face. So I lashed out. Ashley was shouting ‘she’s busted my lip’. I was lead away by security but a friend told me he couldn’t talk afterwards.
“He deserved it. He thinks he can treat women like dirt. I was defending myself and my sister.”
“I saw Ashley in the VIP section. He was wearing a white shirt and was with his driver,” she added.
“They kept looking over at me and I think they might have thought I was my sister. I left the bar and walked to the foyer but Ashley followed me. He just started mouthing off and I thought he was trying to get me thrown out of the club. It was obviously because my sister had spoken about her relationship with him.
“But that’s not my fault. It was then that he just walked up to me and put his face in my face. I had to do something. His security did nothing but two of Drake’s team lead me outside.”
Cole has rarely stayed out of the headlines for long in his long career. The 34-year-old first caused controversy when allegedly being tapped up by Chelsea while he was still playing for Arsenal, reported the Daily Mail back in 2006. Since then his relationship with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, and his defending of John Terry in a racism row [Daily Mail] have hit the front as well as back pages. He is currently playing for AS Roma.
