The Serie A side have taken a keen interest in Nigerian international John Obi Mikel according to the Daily Mail and given his limited role in the Blues first team set-up there is perhaps every chance that Jose Mourinho would consider offers for the long serving battler.

The superb form shown by holding midfielder Nemanja Matic has left Mikel frozen out of Mourinho’s starting eleven and the 28 year old may feel the time is right to consider a fresh challenge.

Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini is also tracking Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado according to Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.

The 27 year old cost Chelsea £23.8m in January and the South American struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League but it would still be something of a shock if the West London side would be considering offers for the wide-man so soon after his arrival.
