The German international spent the second half of last season on loan at Serie A giants Inter Milan after finding first team opportunities limited at the Emirates Stadium limited.
With the Gunners coping extremely well in Podolski’s absence, manager Arsene Wenger is ready to allow the 30-year-old to depart the club during the summer transfer window which officially opens on July 1.

Galatasaray seems the most likely destination for Podolski and official confirmation his switch could be announced very soon after he admitted to reporters that a deal is in place:
“I have agreed with Galatasaray. I want to leave,” the German World Cup winner said [via Metro Sport].
Podolski is already familiar with the Turkish champions after scoring a brace against them last December on a rare start for the North London outfit in the final game of the Champions League group stage.
