Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a move to sign impressive Atletico Madrid defensive midfielder Mario Suarez ahead of Inter Milan this summer.
The north London outfit could do with new additions in the middle of the park, and are considering a move for the Spanish international, who has long been a key player in Diego Simeone’s side.
With Paulinho leaving and a deal for Morgan Schneiderlin perhaps unlikely, Spurs could do with a player of Suarez’s calibre, though it may be that he would favour a move to the San Siro.
According to the Metro, Tottenham may be boosted by the player’s own desire to leave the Vicente Calderon ahead of next season.
