Turan transfer: Chelsea & Barcelona target to meet agent ahead of £25m move

Rojiblancos boss Diego Simeone is keen on getting a replacement for Turan as quickly as possible, and Cuadrado could be just that man. Although the 27-year-old failed to manage a single goal or assist in 19 games for the Blues after joining them in January, he could still be the answer. Impressive form for Colombia over the past 12 months shows that the ability is definitely still there.

Meanwhile Luis has similarly struggled since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Atleti. The 29-year-old only played 26 times for the Stamford Bridge outfit last time round, many of which were in the cup competitions. Moreover, it was Cesar Azpilicueta, who is naturally a right-back, who took the Brazilian’s position in the team. As such a quick return to the Vicente Calderon could be on the cards.

Turan is thought to prefer a move to Chelsea over Old Trafford, despite the Red Devils having made an official approach for the player, reported the Daily Mirror. A bid for the Turkey international could well be successful as a result.
