City get green light to spend £100m on four new players.
Five transfer slip-ups that could cost Chelsea the Premier League title next season, including Cech to Arsenal
Liverpool’s last 20 signings ranked from worst to best: Balotelli 15th, Brazil starlet 1st, ex-Arsenal man 12th
Copa America final: Top five Premier League transfer targets, including £88m duo wanted by Arsenal
The Premier League runners-up are in urgent need of strengthening after a disappointing season, and have been boosted in their efforts to land their top targets this summer after UEFA relaxed its Financial Fair Play restrictions on the club.
Although City are still being monitored, they are now more free to spend big money on the players they want, with the Telegraph stating that these four are the ones topping their list of priorities, in a combined move that would likely cost £100m or more:
1) Paul Pogba (Juventus)
Although the Telegraph do not specify his fee, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is expected to cost a vast amount this summer, with the Daily Express previously reporting that he would cost around £70m, though the Independent recently listed it as £60m. Either way, the 22-year-old should cost somewhere between those two prices and would be a huge signing for City in terms of a long-term replacement for Yaya Toure in midfield and the injection of some real world class quality into their squad.
