Our colleagues at Turkish Football have confirmed that the Portugal international is likely to complete his move in the coming days, and will receive a four-year contract worth €3.975 million.

The attacker has been heavily linked with a permanent move away from Old Trafford this summer, and Fenerbahce look to have won the race for his services.

Nani—who moved to Old Trafford in 2007 for £17.85 million—has enjoyed some good moments at the club, but has fallen out of favour under Louis van Gaal and is understood to have no future at the club.

While he may well look back on a successful spell in the north-west, during which time he won four Premier League titles, as well as the Club World Cup and the

Champions League in 2008, there is a lingering sense that the player never truly realised his potential at Old Trafford.

However, still only 28, he could prove to be a valuable asset for Fener, having spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon.
