The 27-year-old is also a target for Liverpool according to the Star, with the Reds potentially looking at the Spain international as a replacement for Raheem Sterling, who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City throughout the summer [Daily Telegraph]. Both play on the wing, and manager Brendan Rodgers will need to bring in another wideman if the England international departs after he made 47 appearances last season.

Pedro signed a new four year contract with the Blaugranas just last month, reported The Guardian. Even so the Catalan side still seem open to selling the Spaniard, and with a front line consisting of Neymar, Lionel Messi, and Luis Suarez it is unlikely they would miss him if he did leave.

The Liga BBVA, Copa del Rey, and Champions League champions could also rake in £15 million for the La Masia product, an enticing prospect in the age of Financial Fair Play. The extra cash could allow them to finance another foray in to the transfer market, having already signed Aleix Vidal from Sevilla this summer.

The Gunners could be interested in the player to replace Lukas Podolski, who has joined Galatasaray [BBC].

With Joel Campbell also possibly on the way out according to the Metro, the North Londoners could be short in the wide positions and Pedro would be a great reinforcement. He wouldn’t be the first wide forward to make the move either, as Alexis Sanchez left the Nou Camp for Arsenal last summer.
