The 30-year-old was also asked about the future of teammate Sergio Ramos, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

However, it was questions over his own future which seemed to anger the two time Ballon d’Or winner.

When asked about the end of his contract in 2018, he simply said, “My friends, thank you very much,” and walked out.

On the way out of the interview the winger criticised his advisers, claiming, “You’re the ones who ought to do this, man. You have to tell them, ‘Wrap it up, wrap it up.’

“I’m being made to look stupid in front of people. I know when I have to stop.”

Los Merengues president Florentino Perez has been in talks with PSG over a move for the former United man according to the Express, which could have made the forward touchy on the subject.

On Ramos, the Portugal international revealed that he doesn’t know whether the 29-year-old will be joining the Red Devils. Any deal for the centre-back appears closely tied to David De Gea going in the other direction, according to the Daily Telegraph, which complicates the situation.

Marca, via the Daily Mail have reported that Ronaldo could profit from Ramos’s departure from Old Trafford, with the departures of both Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos potentially leaving Ronaldo as the prime contender to take the club captaincy.
