As reported by the site Esto in Mexico, Ochoa is wanted by the French club after the departure of Zacharie Boucher to Auxerre. Toulouse have Marc Vidal and Ali Ahamad already on their books, but neither of them have the experience to take over Boucher.

They reportedly also have Andreas Isaksson from Rennes on their list of possible replacements. He currently doesn’t have a contract with any club. Nonetheless, it is understood that their first option is the Mexican goalkeeper Ochoa.

The biggest obstacle for Toulouse is the high wages Ochoa enjoys at Malaga. If Toulouse are not willing to pay the same amount the player will have to make the decision on whether to give up part of his current salary in exchange for more minutes on the pitch – minutes that he doesn’t have at the moment.
