Ezequiel Lavezzi’s agent has admitted that his client is keen to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, but that a move to the Premier League would not be his first choice.

The Argentine forward has been heavily linked with a move to England over the last few months, with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester United are all understood to have expressed interest in the attacker [Daily Star].

Lavezzi is understood to be valued at £10 million, a fee that—despite his age—may still tempt any of the EPL quartet.

The 30-year-old’s relationship with Laurent Blanc has not always been smooth over the last 12 months [ESPN], and with the reigning French champions linked with several new faces—not least United wideman Angel Di Maria—it remains to be see whether the Argentine international still has a role to play at the Parc des Princes [Metro].

However, if he does leave PSG, it looks unlikely that he will be heading to England.

Speaking to Telelombardia [via Le 10 Sport], the player’s agent Alejandro Mazzoni has revealed that while his client is keen to play in Serie A once again, he has not yet received any offers from Italian sides.

“For the time being, there has been no contact with Italian teams,” he began, “but the player wants to return to Italy.

“His first choice in Italy has always been Napoli, but a return is difficult,” he continued.
