Defender set to make Fiorentina transfer.
Tottenham defender Vlad Chiriches is set to join Serie A side Fiorentina according to the Daily Telegraph.
The Romanian international has failed to impress since moving to White Hart Lane two seasons ago and could be the latest of Mauricio Pochettino’s under-performing squad to be offloaded this summer.
Chiriches was little more than a bit-part player at Spurs last season, making just eight Premier League appearances, and the Daily Telegraph claims a move to Florence is imminent.

Pochettino has already sanctioned the sales of Paulinho, Etienne Capoue, Lewis Holtby and Younes Kaboul following his side’s unsuccessful attempt to secure a top four spot in 2014/15.
Spurs paid Steaua Bucharest £8.5m for the versatile 25-year-old but may have to accept less for his services in order to secure a sale.
