Barcelona star Sergio Busquets has hinted that Manchester United and Chelsea target [Daily MirrorPedro could leave the club, reports The Guardian.

The Spain international has revealed that his teammate at club and international level wants more first team action, and could be tempted to leave in order to get what he wants. With Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, and Neymar all with the Catalan club it is unlikely to happen with the La Liga champions. This will be great news for the Premier League pair, who are both keen on the 27-year-old.

“Yes, I have spoken to him but I won’t tell you what he said. It was a private conversation,” he said, “I would want him to stay, I would love him to stay. He is a friend of mine and it will be his final decision. He wants to play more and get more minutes. That’s what he wants.

“But we are in a team of great players and it’s hard for him. Finally it will be his decision but I hope he stays.”

This could be enough to force a move, with Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu revealing that he will only sell the player if he wants to go [Sky Sports]. Manager Luis Enrique has also revealed that the player will be allowed to go if someone pays his £22 million release clause [ESPN].

If United sign the winger he could well be used as part of a front three including captain Wayne Rooney and new signing Memphis Depay. Meanwhile, Chelsea may also put the La Masia graduate on the right-wing, with  Eden hazard on the left.
