Arsenal & Man United in battle to sign £36m BARGAIN Serie A duo this summer

Premier League rivals want two Serie A-based stars.

Arsenal and Manchester United are both being linked with Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia and Juventus striker Fernando Llorente this summer, according to various reports.

The Daily Mirror claims United saw a bid rejected for £28m-rated Biglia, who impressed with some commanding midfield displays for Lazio last season, while the Gunners have also shown a strong interest in him in the recent past.

Meanwhile, The Sun says Arsenal could rival the Red Devils in an £8m bid for out-of-favour Juve front-man Llorente, 30, who could be a decent signing given his low asking price.

United have already been busy in signing midfielders, bringing in Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger, so it could be that their spending in that area is over for this summer.
